Photos on Canvas in Birmingham

We can reproduce your favourite photo on canvas.

You provide the image you’ve taken with your camera. Digital file .jpg .tiff or raw or any quality photo/picture and after scanning, if required, we use the same Epson UltraChrome K3™ ink technology that we use for fine art printing to produce a quality print on 350gsm 100% cotton canvas (not polyester!).

Pine canvas stretcher bars

The canvas print is then hand stretched on 2cm deep professional pine frame. All frames are made from finger jointed and edge laminated Baltic pine. All frames are FSC certified [ Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) is the mark of responsible forestry].

All stretched canvases will continue to stretch over time. Each frame comes with corner wedges. If the canvas starts to sag over time then a simple tap on each wedge with a small hammer will make the canvas taught again.

Protective Surface Coating

We apply a protective clear varnish with a spray gun and compressor to ensure consistent coverage and finish.

The finish can be best described as ‘satin’.

Note: Our sample prices are based on 20mm [2cm] deep pine frames. We can also provide larger prints using either 24mm or 44mm deep pine frames. Please request a price.
